I'm working on making better comments on the art that I view.  Usually I just don't say anything because it takes time.  Most of the comments that I read are vague attaboys, presumably for the same reason.  I want to do better than that. There are so many wonderful things that I can do with my time, yet webcomics could take it all up by themselves!  Seriously, I read 180+ webcomics, not counting 50+ that are finished or on hiatus and another 70+ where I'm still working through the archives.  Why would I spend that time writing constructive criticism instead? I already know that it will almost always come down to giving an attaboy or no comm

I love webcomics.  I also love knowledge.  So, I have distantly watched the recent, bizarre Wikipedian drama -- the apparent crusade against webcomic entries -- with great annoyance.  I need to express my thoughts and feelings about it, even if no one reads it. First, my conclusion: I think that the entire webcomic fandom community should abandon Wikipedia for the time being and just concentrate on Comixpedia.  Here's why. The easy deletability (and difficult restoration) of real content[1] adds risk to the process of real content creation.  So, it reduces the value of that process to most real content creators.  Overall, it's a disincentiv
